Comments: A lovely young horse who delighted us with his very promising win in a bumper at Warwick last year, following up with another bumper win in March this year. I think he has the potential to go to the top.

Comments: A very good stamp of a horse who was the very brave winner of his only start in an Irish Point-to-Point and was 2nd for us in a bumper at Plumpton, since when he has been getting valuable experience in a couple of steeplechases.

Comments: A horse with bags of ability who’s been just a little unlucky. He was beaten a short head in his first bumper, and had a hurdle race all but won at Fakenham when literally walking through the last and giving it away! He’s had a year off with injury and we're now looking forward to an exciting season with him.

Comments: A very athletic looking individual who loves the mud, beaten a neck in his first start in heavy ground at Chepstow, having drawn fifteen lengths clear of the rest of the field. A virus, followed by an injury, followed by a virus put his career on hold for a while but we're really looking forward to seeing him out again this season.

Comments: Nice, big, unraced filly whose dam won four Point-to-Points and was placed 2nd and 3rd before being placed in Novice Steeplechases. She’ll run in bumpers on soft ground.

Comments: A really great stamp of a chaser, known as ‘William’, who ran well to be second in a competitive three mile chase at Bangor, pulling thirty lengths clear of the rest of the field. Unfortunately he has been one of a few in the yard who contracted a virus, necessitating him missing out on a run in the Hennessy, but he rewarded us by running a great race in the William Hill Handicap at the Cheltenham Festival where he finished a very unlucky 3rd, beaten two whiskers.

Comments: A very decent type rated 90 on the flat and who won his first start over hurdles. Unfortunately, we came across some persistent heat in one of his legs recently and felt it prudent to put him away. He’s a very exciting prospect and we look forward to having him back with us next season.

Comments: A big, attractive, well-bred ex-French filly who ran well to be second in her first run over hurdles at Huntingdon and has since won a nice hurdle race at Ascot in very convincing style.

Comments: This lovely horse, with an exceptional temperament, started favourite in his first run for us at Towcester, only to pull up after about five furlongs. Although it wasn’t obvious at the time, there was obviously something amiss and after much investigation it looks like he’s suffering from an intermittent back problem which is having every attention in an effort to get this horse right as he’s already shown us a lot of promise!

Comments: Lovely old-fashioned potential Steeplechaser who had 2 promising runs in bumpers but then lost his way a little over hurdles. He possibly needed a bit more time and the plan is to run him on soft ground over hurdles/fences.

Comments: This well-bred and well put-together gelding by Great Palm has come on in leaps and bounds since joining us at the beginning of November 07, and if he continues to make such good progress, I’ll look forward to running him in a bumper before the end of the season.

Comments: Winner of four races in the French provinces, a very sharp and athletic type with a great jump who was found to be a little under the weather after his first fun over hurdles when 7th at Kempton. He has since had a good summer's rest and I would expect some decent performances from him this time.

Comments: From a good family, by a top French sire, this big horse has taken a bit of time to come to hand, but we hope to run him this Autumn. Could be anything.

Comments: This nice ex-French gelding came to us in poor condition and we’ve just been ticking away with him for the time being. He’s now looking good, moving extremely well and after a good summer out we're looking forward to seeing what he can do.

Comments: A good looking, athletic type who was placed 5th in his first run in a Point to Point in Ireland before Christmas. One of the horses who finished in front of him has since won very convincingly and we look forward to giving him a run in a bumper before putting him away and starting his novice hurdling career next season.

Comments: How this horse failed to win at least one of his four bumper starts is one of racing’s mysteries! Hopefully, he will fulfil his true potential during his novice hurdling campaign.

Comments: A very attractive ex-French gelding who won on the flat in the Provinces. A cheeky, playful prankster both in and out of the box, he’s struggled to get going on his current handicap mark on the flat, but he’s a very good jumper, and we were very pleased with his 4th place at Newbury on his second start over hurdles.

Comments: This good-looking son of Oscar opened his account with a very brave win in a bumper at Haydock last season after which he sustained an unfortunate injury in his box and has had to have time off. We’ll start him again late this season by which time he should be suited by two and a half miles over hurdles. I think he has a very promising future.

Comments: A really lovely little horse who won on the flat in France. He was consistently placed and won a couple of hurdle races a couple of seasons ago before winning a £15,000 race at Ascot for us recently having had a year off.

Comments: A very scopy horse who missed last season through injury having run some promising races in bumpers, winning on his racecourse debut at Sandown and being placed third in the Grade 2 Aintree bumper. He ran on to be a very promising fourth in his first run over hurdles in the Grade 2 novice hurdle at Haydock, 2nd in a Grade 2 novice event at Kempton before winning at both Market Rasen and Ascot.

Comments: I trained this one’s mother and two sisters so feel I know her well already!! A big, promising filly who spent a few weeks initiation with us last Spring during which time she dealt with everything in an extremely mature manner. She’ll come back to us at the beginning of August to continue her education and I would hope to run her in the Spring of 2008.

Comments: Like all Presentings, an extremely good-looking filly with a good pedigree. The ultimate objective this season being the Bewleys Bumper at Punchestown in the Spring.

Comments: Promising 2 year old bought at the Goffs Breeze Up Sales at Kempton in March.

Comments: Former Irish Point-to-Point winner and will be aimed at NH Flat Races and later in two and a half mile hurdle races.

Comments: Owned by two of Racing’s characters, this sturdily-built un-raced son of Oscar has needed plenty of time to mature, but I would be hopeful that he’ll make his mark on the racecourse early this season.

Comments: Nice, athletic type who should do well for the Racing Club this season. Placed 2nd twice on the flat in France, he’ll start in Juvenile Novice Hurdle races in the Autumn.

Comments: A really lovely big old-fashioned steeplechaser who was placed 3rd in his only run in a Point to Point in Ireland before Christmas. He has a big frame to mature into and will spend the rest of this spring and summer doing flat-work to prepare him for a novice hurdling campaign next season.

Comments: A tough individual in both personality and ability, who delighted us all with his win over fences at Newbury, having been placed third on two other occasions.

Comments: A big, athletic type of horse who came to us with a reputation for being a bit of a character! With the aid of a pair of blinkers and a bit of cajoling from Tom Doyle, he’s been placed third, two seconds and has won twice in his five starts for us. Definitely more than just a bit of a character, but thankfully it seems to be going the right way!!

Comments: Was very unlucky not to win a very decent Point-to-Point in Ireland, when falling at the second last when 20 lengths clear. He’s been very pleasing in his work and ran a very brave race to finish 4th in the mud first time out at Warwick.

Comments: A big, good-looking ex-French gelding who’s had a couple of runs without troubling the judge, but has still given the impression there’s a lot more there. He’s a good jumper who’ll run once more to get a handicap mark and then run in novice handicap chases which we hope will bring out the best in him.

Comments: Probably the bravest, but kindest, horse we have in training, in the early days winning over long distances with a wind problem is testament to his courage and ability. He has since had a wind operation, gone on to win over hurdles again and then won his first start over fences.

Comments: Bought at the Cheltenham Breeze-Up Sale recently, this one’s a really attractive, compact and sharp fellow who really takes the eye. We’ll see how he progresses over the next few weeks and hopefully run him in a bumper before the end of the season.

Comments: Having been dubbed either the ‘slowest or laziest horse I ever trained’, he shocked us all by winning a decent bumper at the Hennessy meeting at Newbury at 25/1! This success was followed by him being consistently placed and winning over hurdles and a third place in his first steeplechase in good company at Doncaster.

Comments: This horse has been nothing but consistent and has shaped into a very good two mile chaser, winning five times in increasingly competitive company, culminating in the beating of the subsequent Arkle winner, Contraband, who he then finished third to, by just five lengths, in the Arkle itself. He was running a great race in the Queen Mother Champion Chase two seasons ago, when he couldn’t have finished any worse than second, but his exuberant jumping just got the better of him and he banked the third last, ejecting his jockey and so putting paid to his chances! He did make amends though when going on to win the Grade 2 Betfred Celebration Chase at Sandown on the last day of the season. The highlight this year was a very articulate round in the Queen Mother Champion Chase to finish 3rd.

Comments: It takes a brave lad to ride this one when he’s fresh! An attractive and well put together individual who won and was placed on the flat in France. We’ve come up against a couple of niggling problems just as he’s getting close to fitness which have set him back a bit, but we hope to bring him out early this season.

Comments: A full-brother to New Mischief who won a bumper and was third in a Listed bumper at Cheltenham before winning over hurdles for us. Another one who’ll run in novice hurdle races this time.

Comments: A tough little horse who has given his owners a lot of fun, consistently placed and then winning a juvenile novice hurdle race last season and placed second in a Class 2 Handicap at Haydock last November.

Comments: Good looking, big unraced gelding who will run in bumpers this season.

Comments: I have been looking forward to running this horse for a long time, but he’s had a couple of setbacks and I hope to run him in a bumper mid-season.

Comments: Previously trained by Lavinia Taylor at Uplands, where he was both placed and the winner of 4 races over fences. Has since had 2 years off due to injury and we hope to start his career again where he left off!

Comments: Owned by the same Syndicate as Red Ruffles who are a great bunch of lads, I don’t know how they managed to pick yet another horse with the same laid-back attitude. Despite never putting himself out on the gallops, he confounded us all by winning a bumper at Uttoxeter by twelve lengths! Unfortunately he didn’t transfer this form to hurdles so, being the character he is, we sent him hunting over the winter which he really enjoys. Watch this space!

Comments: A small, tough, close-coupled individual who was staying on well to be third in an Irish Point-to-Point. He’ll make his debut this season and we think he’ll be a good staying type in time.

Comments: From the family of Trapper John and Chinrullah, he was bought recently at the Dundalk NH Breeze-Up Sale. A really nice type of horse who’ll spend the rest of this season being educated before we find a nice bumper for him next time.

Comments: Recently broken, nice, compact filly owned by two great sportsmen - sure of a good day out whenever she runs!!
