William Kennedy

Will has had a long association with us now, joining us in December 2002 and taking out his licence the following season. After two successful years, he became Champion Conditional Jockey in the 2005-2006 Season. Will is fiercely hard-working, dedicated and loyal and a there wouldn’t be a more worthy winner of this coveted title.

“Noel has a very nice string of quality young Irish horses this time whom I’m really looking forward to getting acquainted with. I’ve got very high hopes of a good season from this new base”.

Will has also forged a very good relationship with both Paul Webber and Alex Hales.

Richard "Dickie" Johnson

As No 1 for Philip Hobbs, he needs no introduction, but we have a few stories of our own to tell in that as a 7lb Claiming Amateur he rode Mr Mulligan to victory in the Grade 3 Towton Novices Chase at Wetherby and the Grade 2 Reynoldstown Chase at Ascot, followed by a 2nd place in the Grade 1 Sun Alliance at Cheltenham.

He then went on to partner Looks Like Trouble when winning the Grade 1 James Nicholson Chase at Down Royal and, of course, the Cheltenham Gold Cup in 2000.

We’re very lucky to have the use of this vast experience, particularly when sitting on the young horses during their first schooling sessions, but also for his professional opinion of the more mature horses after a good work-out.

Tom Siddall

Born in Yorkshire, Tom started his competitive life on the show-jumping circuit.  His mother trains under both codes and from this good grounding, he joined Malcom Jefferson in Malton before heading south as Conditional Jockey to Jonjo O’Neill where he stayed for 3 to 4 seasons, having ridden out his claim during his first 12 months there.

Tom comes to see us a couple of times a week, riding work, schooling and generally getting to know our horses.   One horse he got to know particularly well last season was Mendo, who won over hurdles for him at Cheltenham in November giving Tom his first winner at this Grade One track.

Tom also rides out regularly for Kim Bailey, Emma Lavelle & Charlie Longsdon.
